Two rounds to the end of the iRacing Pro Series and Positive SimRacing is competing with three drivers in very different situations. Only the top 25 drivers will be in the next World Championship Series, which is the main target for the F1 Section of PSR in 2016.

Diogo Oliveira is completing a very consistent championship, with a safe P11 and 132 points. Fernando Guerrero, however is just in the limit (P25) with 96 points; and Kevin Siggy, despite his good pace, is in P32, with 63 points. The championship has been a nightmare for Kevin, who had internet problems and disconnections in the first races.

Round 7, in the Circuit of Spa Francorchamps, was well prepared by the team, with different driver strategies. Kevin needed to assume more risks, while Diogo and Fernando opted for a more conservative strategy.

Kevin's car is damaged in lap 1

Kevin avoids the accident, but his car results serously damaged

Kevin had the best pace of the team, but in the first turn, his car suffered minor damages. A few seconds later, Kevin reacted well to the next accident in front of him, before the Eau Rouge curve, but his car was then seriously damaged by a driver coming from behind, who couldn’t react so quick. Unfortunately, and despite all the work done during the weeks before the race, Kevin couldn’t continue his race. His team mates, Diogo and Fernando, could pass safely, but the disappointment in the team was great when Kevin had to retire.

Fernando was involved in a race incident

Diogo and Fernando had a consistent pace, driving around the top 20, until an incident between M. van Loozenord and M. Colak blocked the last chicane. Fernando drove safely and stopped his car, but again, a driver from behind seriously damaged his car as a result of the incident. Fernando struggled to finish the race with his car in very poor conditions, but he finally managed to do it in P22. Meanwhile, Diogo could have a safe race, with no incidents, finishing in P15.

Diogo wins a position in the last laps

Last two rounds will take place in Monza (16th of January) and Nürburgring (23rd of January) and the team is committed to do their best.
