P2 in the AOR Formula Renault Championship (S.8-Winter 2018)

Final standings (Source: https://apexonlineracing.com/)

UI1-Positive SimRacing finished in second position in the AOR Formula Renault 2.0 championship (Season 8), with two PSR drivers finishing in the top 10. This result is considered as very good for the team, considering that this was our first participation in the championship. SimRC was finally the champion in the team’s standings, with UI1-Positive SimRacing in second place and Radicals Online completing the podium.

Concerning the UI1-PSR drivers, Harrison Finch (P4) completed an excellent championship, with one victory and three podiums, and despite some consecutive DNF, he clinched a final P4 in the driver’s standings. Lubomir Moric also completed a very good championship, with only 2 DNF in 24 rounds and finishing in P10 in the driver’s standings. Manuel Heuer did also very good races, including a victory and two podiums, to finally finishing in P16 due to missing a few rounds at the start of the season.

The races are broadcasted every Friday by the Global Sim Racing Channel, with 6K subscribers.

Harrison Finch, UI1-PSR Driver: 'Overall my season was a success, but the first half of the season made it hard for me to challenge for the championship because of the inconsistency. Towards the end of the season I was very consistent and I hope to carry this form into the next season and make a push for the drivers title and win the team championship”'

Javier Álvarez, Team Owner: 'We are very happy with this result, because it evidences that our Formula Renault 2.0 section is competitive. With more experience, we expect to be closer to the victory in the next editions.'
