Positive Simracing drivers Tim Delisle and Greg Olson finished in P1 and P2 in the first season of the Dallara iR-01 series
The Dallara iR-01 was presented as iRacing and Dallara’s answer to the challenges of premier international open-wheel motorsport. Designed to blend together the best elements of grand prix racing’s past, present, and future, this fast and agile machine is easy to pick up, but limited electronics and driver aids make it challenging to master.
Positive Simracing took part in the last three World Championship Grand Prix Series organised by iRacing, and the team aims to be in this competition again as soon as it returns to the scene. For this reason, the team wanted to get a head start in this first season. After some weeks of adaptation to the car, the team started to deliver very good results. Tim Delisle and Greg Olson clinched their first 1-2 in Philip Island, and despite some bad weeks (particularly in Road Atlanta and Monza), Tim and Greg secured P1 and P2 in the championship with consecutive 1-2 finishes in the last two rounds.
