Podium in the Spanish DPC Formula Championship

José Pleguezuelos started this new edition of the first division of the Drivers Parade Club's Formula League as the champion of the last edition. On that occasion, the PSR driver was accompanied on the podium by his teammate Greg Olson. This edition of the league was also organized with the Formula Renault 3.5, while the team is mainly focusing on the new Dallara IR-01, nevertheless José defended the title alongside with Daniel Campos.

In the first round José did not disappoint and the Spanish driver began with a victory and leading the standings, and thus maintained a great pace throughout the championship. However, he became involved in incidents in 3 of the 6 rounds (Ímola, Suzuka and Hockenheim), which was decisive for his chances of defending the title. Especially painful was his incident in Suzuka, in a race where his main contender had been DNF and where he had a good chance to lead again the championship.

The third position in the standings is still a well-deserved prize for José and we are very proud of it, particularly since this is one of the most demanding single-seat championships nowadays, and also because it has had an excellent participation. Unfortunately, we can’t mobilize all of our drivers, due to time zone differences with Australia, but we will still consider to keep fighting for this championship in future editions.
